MEET DAVE .....

Dave has been a top producing Realtor of Nanaimo for the past 25 years. Licensed in 1978, a co-founder of the original Bowen Realty (now Re/Max), an 8 year Director on the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board, VIREB Realtor of the Year in 1990, 14 years in MLS Medallion Club and continues to be one of the top Nanaimo Realtors.

Dave was born in Duncan, raised in the Lake Cowichan area (yes, a born and raised Vancouver Islander) and graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in real estate, in 1978.

Dave knows how important it is to stay current with all the latest marketing tools. Dave has set himself up as a company within a company which makes his service more personal yet has the strength of the Remax organization behind him. Dave has recently formed a partnership with Greg Bulock. Their support staff consists of two full-time coordinators, Leah and Angela. Tools include: 24 hour phone service, web site on the Internet, e-mail, fax machine, cellular phone and a personal computer. This complete team system ensures a flawless, efficient, satisfying experience for clients, from start to finish.

Dave feels that family is important. He and his wife Cindy, an elementary school teacher, have 2 daughters - Carly and Jennifer. Both Carly and Jennifer have obtained high school diplomas and are presently pursuing their endeavours in post secondary  education.

Dave believes in giving back to the community. Involvements include the City of Nanaimo Gas & Pipeline Committee which brought natural gas to Vancouver Island, the Rotary Club of Nanaimo and past President of the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation.

Dave has gained a tremendous amount of experience, both in operating real estate companies (RE/Max and McKinnon/Hammond Real Estate Services) and serving a wide variety of customers needs. He has a great belief in long term growth opportunities in Nanaimo and Vancouver Island.
